Edward is still very much optimistic that we can all come together in this world and that optimism is infectious. I know he has certainly made me more hopeful. Dear Humanity Outpost,
I want take this opportunity to introduce you to the Newport Ambassador program. A Newport Ambassador is a volunteer who assists in the promotion of Newport’s positive image. Every year the Newport Ambassadors have a Visitor’s Information booth at events held around the City. I hope that you will be able to participate in the information booth this year. The new festival and event season is quickly approaching starting with the Italian Festival in June.
The Newport Ambassadors would like to give out information regarding the Humanity Outpost event July 1 to 22 at the World Peace Bell in Newport. If you would like to participate, it is free (except for your advertisement cost). We are asking for at least 100 total items. These items can be flyers, pamphlets, etc. Please feel free to give as many as you would like. Items can be dropped off on the second floor of the City Building at 10th and Monmouth Streets, or I can pick it up, whichever is more convenient for you. Thank you in advance for your participation in the Newport Ambassador program. The deadline is Tuesday, May 16th.
