Sylvia Rombis is our first person “on the Bench.” Sylvia is owner of MALTON GALLERY, loving wife & mother, and has enough energy for 3 people! I admire that Sylvia always looks fabulous…even went painting, hanging artwork or hammering nails…she is fashion forward! Sylvia, although a consumate business woman, really has her gallery for the LOVE of art! She wants the work to go to people who really love it and she goes to the ends of the earth for her customers! i.e. driving 6 hours for a painting in a customers bathroom! She is a generous person & one of the most positive person’s I’ve ever met. That’s how I see her…she has also won this year’s VOLUNTEER AWARD by VENUE magazine even though she won’t mention it herself….Sylvia Rombis “on the bench.”      Brenda

If you purchase a bench it will be part of the exhibition in July,& you will receive 1. the bench after the exhibition,2. your picture” on the bench” as part of our blog. 3. a framed picture of you “on the Bench” and 4. a humanity OUTPOST certificate certifying that your bench was part of “THE HUMANITY OUTPOST” exhibition July 1-22 . Cairns can be found all over the world and are an important part of history! In Canada, where I hail from, they are called Inuksuits(named by our Native Canadians) who are brilliant artisans and very Spiritual people. There are Inuksuits all the way across Canada along the highways…sometimes humble…sometimes monuments. Edward Casagrande’s Cairns are the “wayfinders” to Peace & Humanity! They were used to keep people & animals in, keep the enemy out, provide the proclamation”we are here”and generally make an announcement without saying a word. The Humanity Outpost wants their gateways to be a free flow of Humanity in a direction of collective peace!

Gateways and portals are essential to the Humanity Outpost! There are many entrances and the best part is there are no restrictions! Humanity is all of us….any culture, any religion, any color, any persuasion, the wealthy, the poor and everyone in between! Now imagine that on this planet…it really would be paradise!

When our artist, Edward and Malton Gallery set out to do something special for our community we had no idea how it would BLOOM! As you can see, the vision at Ronald McDonald house bloomed with a garden of hearts and the HUMANITY OUTPOST will be filled with Peace & Humanity and your HEARTS!
